Do You Qualify for a Free Lung Screening?
Did you know that a quick 15-minute appointment could help detect lung cancer early—when it's most treatable?
There is a new government-funded lung screening program, eligible individuals can now access this screening. Here’s what you need to know.
Who Qualifies?
You may be eligible for this screening if you:
Are between 50 and 70 years old, and
Are a current smoker, or quit smoking within the past 10 years
If you meet these criteria, you could qualify for a low-dose CT scan that can detect early signs of lung cancer before symptoms appear.
What’s Involved?
It all starts with a short 15-minute appointment with one of our experienced nurses. During this visit, we’ll ask a few questions to determine if you’re eligible for the scan. If you qualify, we’ll arrange a referral for your low-dose CT scan at no cost to you.
Why Get Screened?
Lung cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths—but early detection saves lives. Many cases are diagnosed too late because symptoms often don’t appear until the disease has advanced, screening helps catch it earl.
